- Description
- The USDA Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region 6 intends to solicit for Professional Timber Fallers that Government Agencies may use for wildland fire, severity, initial attack, suppression and mop-up activities within the states of Oregon and Washington. The CONTRACTOR shall furnish all services, supervision, equipment, supplies, transportation, insurance, and trained personnel necessary to meet these specifications. Minimum requirements will include: 1 Advanced Faller, 1 Basic Faller, 2 saws, personal protective equipment (PPE), and 4WD transportation. Specific personnel/training/equipment requirements will be detailed in the Request for Quotes (RFQ), which should be available for download on or around June 8, 2006. The Government anticipates issuing multiple Emergency Equipment Rental Agreements (EERA) on a Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) competitive basis.
