Description
RADAR AIS System. Please see attached Solitciation complete with system specifications as well. Minimal Requirements for the Radar System 1. Radar must operate in the S band. 2. Must have at least 25k of transmitting power 3. Must operate at 3.050GHz 4. Must have range scales (nm) from 0.125 to 96 in at least 10 increments 5. Have a 10ft. antenna length of the open array type 6. Have a minimum of a 21 inch display mounted on a pedestal 7. The antenna must be able to be remotely controlled from a distance of at least 700ft. by way of a 100base-TX fiberoptic network converter receiver/transmitter. 8. The radar must have a trackball/wheel palm module with customizable function keys for controlling the radar. 9. The radar must have standard ARPA functions with the capability of displaying up to 100 ARPA targets. 10. Must have a chart card reader interface 11. The radar must have AIS (Automatic Identification System). 12. The range ring accuracy must be +/- 0.2% at minimum. 13. The range discrimination must be at least 30 m on the 0.75 nm range scale. 14. Must have presentation modes of Head-Up, Course-Up, North-Up and North-Up TM. 15. Radar must accept a gyrocompass input. 16. Radar must accept a DGPS compatible input signal. 17. Must have range rings from .025 to 16 in at least 10 increments 18. Must have parallel index lines that are menu selectable for up to 6 lines 19. Must have a radar map that can create a coastline of 1500 points or greater, own ship safety contour, isolated underwater dangers, buoys, traffic routing systems, prohibited areas, fairways as required by IMO. 20. Automatically plot: a. minimum of 100 targets either by manual or automatic means. b. Automatic track of all targets within 0.1 to 32nm c. a minimum of two guard zones, one of which will be 0.5nm depth d. true or relative vector for 30 seconds, and for 1 to 30 minutes in at least 6 time increments for prediction of target motion. e. past positions of up to 10 targets at intervals of 30 seconds, and 1 to 6 minutes in at least 4 increments of time f. collision warning capable with a CPA limit of from 0.2 to 10nm and a TCPA limit of 0-99 minutes. g. Trail maneuver capable in either dynamic or static mode with a selectable time delay. 21. AIS functions: a. symbol capable for the modes of Sleeping, Activated, Dangerous, Selected, and Lost Targets. b. 1,000 targets maximum c. capable of data indications for Basic and Expanded data 22. Capable of allowing the operator to magnify part of the radar display.
