- This is a notice for the intended sole source effort to NVIS, Inc., 11495 Sunset Hills Road, STE 202, Reston, VA 20190-5256, to deliver UnderSea Training Device Spares, DV 21H35. The parts to be supplied consist of the following: QTY 2 -(F10077-1) nVisor SX Head Mounted Display; QTY 2 -(S10296-PCB) PCB Blanking. This contract will be awarded per the authority at 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. NVIS, Inc. is the sole responsible source to have specific electronic/electrical, fit, form, and functional characteristics used with the trainer parts currently in use for device 21H35, and the Maintenance Manuals used with the trainer. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement as prime contractor. The Government will consider any company believing they have the capability of satisfying this requirement, and are invited to provide a technical capability statement. A determination by the Government not to compete the procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. An award shall be issued on or about 02 April 2007. This procurement will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to be delivered as soon as possible, but no later than 30 September 2007.
