Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote No. Q1379070022. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation, to the quoter providing the best value to the Government. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the NPS. NAICS code: 326122; small business size standard: 500 employees. The National Park Service, Curecanti National Recreation Area, Elk Creek Area, has the following requirement: 18 inch diameter x 20 foot lengths, ADS N-12 Ultra HDPE pipe (watertight) or equal, FOB Destination Gunnison, Colorado 81230 QUANTITY: 137 EACH The FOB Point is: Destination to Curecanti National Recreation Area, Elk Creek Area, located 15 miles west of Gunnison, Colorado 81230 on US Hwy 50. Delivery is requested 30 days after receipt of order. The following provisions applies to this acquisition: Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 52.212.-1, Instruction to Offerors--Commercial items. FAR 52.214-31, Bidders may submit facsimile bids as responses to this solicitation. FAR 52.212.2, Evaluation, Commercial Items: The government will evaluate quotes in response to this request and award a purchase order/contract to the responsible bidder whose offer conforms to this request and will be most advantageous to the Government considering price and other factors (e.g., past performance, delivery, and/or quality). Award will be made based upon the best value to the Government in accordance with procedures in FAR 13.106-2(b). Offers are to include a completed copy of provision FAR 52.212.3, Offeror Representations and Certification, Commercial Items. The following clause is applicable to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items.
