- The Army Contracting Agency at Fort Polk, Louisiana will issue a request for quote (RFQ), 100% set aside for women owned business, with intent to award a firm-fixed price contract for all equipment, tools, personnel, supervision and other items and s ervice necessary to perform grounds maintenance, grass mowing, edging, trimming and herbicide treatment in North Fort Polk, Louisiana to include Alligator Lake. Vendor must be certified by the state of Louisiana for applying herbicide. Services will be f rom 01 April 2007 through 31 Mar 2008. This RFQ contains an option clause to extend the contract for four one-year periods. NAICS Code is 561730. Award for this procurement will be based on lowest quote. This RFQ has an approximate issue date of 7 Marc h 2007 and an approximate due date of 21 March 2007. No Telephone or faxed quotes will be accepted.
