Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A faxed copy of this Request for Quote as contained herein will be provided to all requestors. Quotes are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Best Value Lowest Price Technically Acceptable request for quote (RFQ) W9124B-07-T-0007 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the Test Program at Subpart 13.5. The Government intends to award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offe r conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the government based on the Best Value Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offer for the requirement in accordance with the scope of work. Technical acceptable criteria are the service requ irements as listed in the scope of work. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2004-25. This procurement is set side for Total Small Business and and is under North Ame rican Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) 532490, the size standard is 500 employees. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION: Operations Sand Castle FY07 Requirement #1, (Tables, Chairs, & Beds) Requirements: deliver, set up and pick up/insurance/daily service and maintenance to include weekends and holidays. Delivery date 30 March 2007 and pick up date 8 June 2007. Provide Five hundred (500) institutional bunk beds for Clear Span & clamshell structures w/4 foam mattresses. This item is to be delivered (NLT) 3 April 2007 for use up 8 June 2007. The beds are to be delivered to the National Training Center (NTC) Forwa rd Operating Base (FOB) Endeavor (see information below): FOB Site GRID: NU30559758 500 institutional bunk beds w/4 foam mattresses 50 Folding Tables (3X6) 300 Folding Chairs 3 April 2007 to 8 June 2007 Provide 50 Folding Tables (3X6) and 300 folding chairs for use in the DFAC/MWR/ and C2 HQ Clear Span structures. The exact placement of tables and chairs will be coordinated on site during delivery. IN THE EVENT OF NEEDED REPAIRS RESPONSE TIME SHALL BE WITHIN 4 HOURS AFTER NOTIFICATION IF MADE BY 4:30 PM OR 0600 IF NOTIFICATION IS MADE AFTER 5:0 0 PM.
