Description
Description Solicitation /Synopsis: This combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. The Northern American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) 333319 and a size standard of 500 employees. The proposed purchase listed is a 100% small business set-aside. COMMODITIES PURCHASE: This requirement is for a quantity of six(6) Reverse Osmosis Water System. Manufacture Culligan or Equil. (1) The Contractor shall supply six Reverse Osmosis units for six Missile Alert Facilities on separate domestic wells located in northern Colorado and western Nebraska. (2) The units shall take the water quality from the initial water quality reports (Pre-RO) to the final water quality criteria as shown for each of five sites in Post RO reports. The sixth unit shall be designed for the worse case of the five. (3) The units shall be designed with any necessary pre-treatment equipment to achieve 50% recovery. Feed water quantities are limited to 2,000 gallons per day and shall provide a minimum of 850 gallons of potable water per day. (4) All components shall include complete installation instructions, operations and maintenance instructions, replacement part lists, schematics, drawings and warranties. (5) Attachment B indicates the pretreatment system used for the current Reverse Osmosis unit. Any or all of the equipment may be used or replaced in the effort to provide a minimum of 50% efficiency with the new Reverse Osmosis unit. (6) New Reverse Osmosis unit shall be 115v 60hz 1ph when possible. The statement of work, attachments, and reports are attached to this Solicitation /Synopsis. The reverse Osmosis units are to be delivered to F. E. Warren Air Force Base. The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the blanks filled in as follows: Request for Quotation will be evaluated for price and compatibility with specifications. The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Quotes shall include pricing information to include material unit price and extended total as well as the completed provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. No addenda apply. The clause at FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items (Nov 2006) (DEVIATION)-applies to this acquisition.
