- As of 1 March, 2007 the status of the CFT source slection is unchanged. OSD/DPAP is still waiting for all services to submit their business cases to justify use of CFT. This request was issued in early Jan 2007 and a deadline for reply was established as 31 Jan 2007. This deadline has not been met by all services. Until these taskings have been accomplished, the source selection is on hold. In the meantime it has become necessary to process extensions to the current basic contracts to accomodate the many delays we have encountered. This paperwork is in process right now and an announcement of how long the contracts will be extended will be made as soon as possible. We are hoping to have final approval to issue a formal RFP by 31 March 2007, but we cannot guarantee that. We will post any futher news when it becomes available. Thank everyone for their continued patience with this process.
