- Pre-Cruise repairs onboard the Training Ship Empire State to the following: Aquachem; Ductwork to SSDG; #1 Hold, port winch runner brake; Repair vent piping at double bottom fixed ballast tank; Salt water overboard valve and flange; Open lifeboat & liferaft davit falls renewal; Liferaft davit weight test; Lifeboat weight test; Cargo gear inspection. Attention Minority, Women-Owned Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs): the Dept. of Transportation (DOT) Short-term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
