- Tripwire Licenses/Support: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Tripwire information technology services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.102 (g) and in the format in Subpart 12.60, and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This requirement is sole source based on manufacturer?s brand name. The manufacturer or resellers who offer this product are invited to submit their responses to this Request for Quotation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Reference Number is 07-00469BY and is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates all mandatory commercial item provisions and clauses that are in the effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-15 dated February 13, 2007. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 443120, and the small business size standard is $8 million. This procurement is restricted to small business, allowing only small businesses to submit quotations unless the small business community is unable to provide the entire requirement. The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is soliciting quotations to obtain Tripwire Software/Support. Item 1: Item Number: TW-162000-00-052, Description: Tripwire Enterprise/Server License, Quantity: 3 EA. Item 2: Item Number: TW-162000-01-052, Description: Tripwire Annual Standard Support for Enterprise Server License, Quantity: 3 EA. Item 3: Item Number: TW-162110-00, Description: Tripwire Enterprise/FS-4(file system monitoring, 1-4 processors), Quantity: 50 EA. Item 4: Item Number: TW-162110-01, Description: Tripwire Annual Standard Support for Enterprise/FS-4 License, Quantity: 50 EA. Item 5: Item Number: TW-162300-00, Description: Tripwire Enterprise Database (DB) Monitoring License, Quantity: 1 EA. Item 6: Item Number: TW-162300-01, Description: Tripwire First Year Annual Support for Tripwire Enterprise Database Monitoring System, Quantity: 1 YR. Item 7: Item Number: TW-900916-90, Description: Tripwire Services-5 Day Quick Start, Quantity: 1 YR. Item 8: Item Number: TW-900999-90, Description: Tripwire Services-Travel & Expenses, Quantity 1 LT. Contractors responding to this combined synopsis/solicitation shall quote on all or none; no quotations addressing partial product offers will be considered. The contractor shall provide fixed-prices for each deliverable. Quotations must be received by the Office of Personnel Management no later than March 8, 2007. The following are inserted by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (to be submitted with quotation); 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. An offeror shall complete only paragraph (j) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov. If an offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at the ORCA web site, the offeror shall complete only paragraphs (b) through (i) of this provision. Notification of any changes shall be made only on the internet. Vendors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the time the requirement is to be awarded will not be considered.
