- Description
- The Marine Corps Systems Command, Infantry Combat Equipment, is seeking sources for a domestic supplier of modacrylic fiber to be used to make clothing for the military. Fiber must be of sufficient quality for the successful conversion into fabrics and for military garment end-use. Firms who believe they have a product capable of meeting this requirement are requested to provide product literature, brochures, place of manufacture and any other relevant information. Responses shall be submitted no later than 14 March 2007 to Contracts Directorate, Code CTQ3MS, ATTN: Mark Sanderson, 2200 Lester Street, Quantico, VA 22134-6050. Information may also be submitted via email to mark.sanderson@usmc.mil. Submitted information will not be returned. This is not a request for proposal or quotation. No solicitation document exists. This is not to be construed as a commitment by the government to procure these items, nor does the Marine Corps intend to award on the basis of this s ources sought or otherwise pay for the information requested. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect cost or charges by the Government will arise as a result of submission of responses to this RFI and Government use of such information.
