Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The following is a synopsis prepared in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and supplemental information included in this notice. The quotation number is N00178-07-Q-1121 and is a request for quotation. This announcement constitutes the only quotation being issued. A written quotation will not be issued. All interested parties shall indicate their interest and capability with their fax quote to (540) 653-7088 and shall be considered by Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren, XDS117 Contract Branch, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Suite 102, Dahlgren VA 22448-5110. All offerors must be advised that they must be active in the Central Contractor Registration database at http://www.ccr.gov before award can be made. The Government intends to procure, on a full and open competition basis, the following; Environmental Qualification Testing on a fully populated OJ-723B(V)I on a console in accordance with the associated Statement of Work (SOW) and attachments (see attachment 1 on our homepage). The offeror must have the capability to perform MIL-STD EQT Spec. Paragraph 2.1 of the SOW requires that testing be completed 28 days after the materials arrive. Assert that this schedule can be met with negligible risk. The attachments and SOW (see attachment 1) to the associated announcement can be found on our homepage at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/wwwDL/XD/SUPPLY The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 513330 with a size standard of 5.0 Million Dollars. The contract shall be a firm fixed price order. Delivery shall be made to CDSA Dam Neck, 1922 Regulus Avenue, Virginia Beach, Virginia as required by the associated documentation and specifications. Delivery shall be made within 28 working days of arrival of Government furnished materials. FOB Destination shall apply. Offer is due 13 March 2007 no later than 2 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) to: Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren, XDS117 Contract Branch, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Suite 102, Dahlgren VA 22448-5110, with faxed copies acceptable.
