This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N00421-07-T-0077 is issued as a BRAND NAME MANDATORY request for quotation (RFQ). The BRAND NAME IS TANDBERG. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. The NAICS code associated with this procurement is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. The required line items are: ** CLIN 0001 ? Tandberg Bandwidth Upgrade (to 768 Kbps ISDN /Ext Netw/3 Mbps IP) P/N:1138572 ( Qty ? 3 Units Ea.). CLIN 0005 ? Tandberg Tactical MXP P/N: 114151( Qty ? 1 Units Ea.). CLIN 0006 ? Tandberg Natural Presenter Package for Tactical MXP P/N: 114487NPP ( Qty ?1Units Ea.). CLIN 0007 ? Tandberg Multi site Capability(MS) for Tactical MXP, P/N: 114487MS ( Qty ? 1 Units Ea.). **CLIN 0008 ? Tandberg First Year Customer Core Service to Tactical MXP P/N: 114151V31D ( Qty ? 1 Units Ea.). BRAND NAME items are required to ensure reliable mobile video and voice communications capability. The purchase of other than the required equipment would inhibit the project?s capability of transmitting or receiving reliable communication transmissions amoungst the UCS units. These items shall be delivered FOB Destination to NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AD (PAX), RECEIVING OFFICER, VILLA ROAD BLDG 8115 UNIT 11, ST INIGOES MD, 20684-0010 by 30 May 2007. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ?Commercial Items (Sept 2006), applies to this procurement and the applicable evaluation factors are price and delivery with price being more important than delivery. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items (Nov 2006), with its offer.
