- The date for submission of questions regarding the draft PWA is extended to 07 March 07. These questions must be submitted in writing to the contracting officer. The purpose of this synopsis is to provide preliminary information regarding NDI Maintenance Support for Tinker AFB OK. The following information is provided for this upcoming acquisition: The successful contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, parts, tools, materials, supervision, and other incidentals and services necessary to eprform on-site preventive and remedial maintenance and overhaul, if required, on hardware and sofrware as defined in the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The maintenance support shall be provided for the Government-owned Retirement for Cause (RFC) Eddy Current Inspection System (ECIS) and Government-owned automated ultrasonic system (UTIS). This acquisition willutilize FAR Part 13 commercial procedures and will be solicited in a full and open competition environment. The contract is expected to include a one-year basic period and four each one-year option procedures. No solicitation is being issued at this time and the anticipated date that the solicitaiton will be issued is mid March 2007. To facilitate the market research, an Industry Day will be held on 27 February 2007 in Bldg 3, Operational Contracting Squadron starting at 9:00. All interested parties planning to attend are directed to notify the below named individual by 23 February 2007 by 4:00pm if they plan to attend. Failure to notify may result in non-availability of transportation. All interested parties are strongly urged to attend. It is requested that if there are questions regarding the draft PWS that they be submitted in writing to the contracting officer by 28 Feb 07. Additional information, as it becomes available, will be posted as amendments to this announcement. All amendments will be available for viewing on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.eps.gov . It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the site frequently for any updates and amendments to any and all documents. All potential offerors are reminded, in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR), lack of registration in the CCR will make an offeror ineligible for a contract award. All businesses capable of providing these services are invited to respond to this Announcement by the date and time listed below. Any information provided by Industry to the Government as a result of this Announcement and the Market Survey is voluntary; the Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this Announcement.
