- This is a combined synopsis/soliciation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written soliciation will not be issued. This is a total small business set-aside. This soliciation number is RFQ70020-JDS and solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The soliciation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. Delivery and acceptance will be at Bethesda, Maryland. The National Institute on Drug Abuse on behalf of the National Institute on Mental Health has a requirement for an 9 Channel NAN Electrode Drive. The system has the following requirements: 1) Thin-electrode(80 um)multi-electrode drive, 2) Medium-electrode (200-400 um) multi-electrode drive, 3)Coarse Movement system, and 4)Guide tube, 70mm. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items, is applicable. Specific evaluation criteria are: (1) Ability to meet technical specifications and (2) Ability to deliver on time and within specification. Offers will be evaluated on best value in relation to price. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commerical Items, with its offer. Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Condition Commerical Items, applies to this acquisition. Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The quotation are due March 13, 2007 3:00 PM EST and will be submitted hard copy or electronically to Jasmine D. Snoddy, Contract Specialist, 31 Center Drive, Room 1B59, Bethesda, Maryland 20892.
