Description
The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, NPPTL, Pittsburgh, Pa requires service maintenance on their laboratory instrument Model 8130, Serial numbers, 130, 250, 252, and 255, for inspection and repair, must be maintained within the operation parameters that the manufacturer specifics. Maintenance will be for a six (6) months period, With one 6 month option period. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), the only know organization with the specialized statistical capabilities within a reasonable geographic area is believed to be TSI, Incorporated in Saint Paul, MN. The service contract requires individuals who possess to perform four scheduled maintenance calls preventative and remedial services on laboratory instrument, TSI Model 8130, serial numbers 123, 130, 250, 252, and 255. 1. Product is assumed to be in Working order upon arrival of service person. 2. Inspection, cleaning and performance verification of Product. 3. Replacement of parts as necessary for preventive maintenance purposes. 4. Installation of updates when determined applicable by contractor and desirable by customer, substantial performance upgrades excluded. 5. Certification that product is fully functional. Responsible sources that believe they possess the expertise and capabilities identified above are encouraged to submit to the Contracting Officer within fifteen (15) days form posting date of this notice their capabilities statement and supporting information in the format they choose, not to exceed ten (10) pages. Information received in response to this notice will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received with fifteen (15) days, negotiations will be conducted with TSI Incorporated as the only source and a purchase order will be issued without any additional notices being posted.
