- The notice below is hereby modified to incorporate the latest revised technical specifications for this requirement. The revised specifications are Spec No. PO-ATL-LVPS-02, Rev. No. 3A, issue date: February 8, 2007 and revision date February 27, 2007. Please see page 14 of the attached revised specifications to this notice that changed the background magnetic field to 300 Gauss. Please disregard the previous specifications issued and atatched to this notice as Rev. No. 3A with an issue date of December 1, 2006. All other terms and conditions set forth in the notice below and previous modifications/amendments remain unchanged. Brookhaven National Laboratory is seeking reputable firms who can provide radiation tolerant DC to DC converters, hence forth called power supplies, to be used at the ATLAS Liquid Argon Calorimeter Detector. The power supplies will be installed at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, located near Geneva, Switzerland. The equipment will be procured under a contract to the United States Department of Energy. The Request For Proposal is attached herein in its entirety, inclusive of the Statement of Work and Specification No. PO-ATL-LVPS-02.
