- The Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest has an occasional need for tree planting in the Carson Ranger district. We are trying to locate potential vendors for short notice, small (under $25,000), projects. Due to the low dollar value, and necessary flexability in time schedules, these vendors should most likely be located within reasonable proximity of Carson City, NV. These vendors would receive requests for quotations by FAX or E-mail. They would generally have approximately a week to respond to the RFQ, and once awarded, would need to mobilize very quickly after award to get the planting done by coordinating with the Carson Ranger District personnel. We need to develop this list quickly as there is a current need for vendors. Those who respond by Monday, March 5th will receive a current RFQ which will need response no later than Friday, March 9th Interested vendors should contact Charlene Byrd or Steve Roehr as shown in this notice. To receive RFQ's we will need a Company Name, Point of Contact, Phone Number, FAX Number, and very important: An E-MAIL ADDRESS for receipt of Requests for Quotations.
