- This is an amendment to the previous presoliciation for Indian Graves Culvert Replacement to add the optional item. The project consists of two culvert replacements. The main site is Indian Graves Creek at MP 2.9 and the optional site is East Fork Indian Graves Creek at MP 1.1 on road 5601. The two sites are very similar and consist of the removal of a 60" metal pipes and replacing with 16'0" X 7'1" X 60' structural plate arch culvert with concrete footings, that will allow fish passage. There is approx. 4 feet of fill over the existing culverts. Work includes culvert removal, construction and installation of new structure, rebuilding the road in the vicinity of the new structure, placing riprap, building step-pool structures in the channel, placing government furnished aggregate, and all other work needed to complete the project as required by the contract, plans, and specifications. Instream work must be completed between July 1 and August 15, 2007. A pre-bid tour was held 10/24/06 for the Indian Graves site only. The project is located on the Powell Ranger District of the Clearwater NF, approx. 30 miles from Powell in Idaho County, ID. (Section 5, T36N, R11E) Access from Powell is via Highway 12 and FS Roads 107 and 5601. Sites are located on Road 5601 at MP 1.1 and 2.9. Proj. est. cost $25,000-$200,000. Est. start work date 7/1/07.
