Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Purchase Request number is FS2030-07-81098. Combination synopsis/solicitation number is FA8104-07-R-0245. The solicitation is a request for proposal (RFP). Closing date for quotations will be received at the issuing office until 4:00 PM on 25 Jan 2007. A list of qualified sources is as follows: General Electric Co (Cage: 99207). The solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 (FAAC). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336412. This is a requirement for Line Item 0001, NSN: 2840-01-490-1337OK, P/N: 5125T85G01. NOUN: Case, Augmentor, Airc. Description: Item is used in the afterburner section of the turbine engine to augment thrust. Items forms the outside shell of the J85 engine afterburner section and provides mounting structure for engine nozzles. Dimensions are 19 inches in diameter by 48 inches long. Material is A-286 High Temperature Steel Alloy. Special Packaging Instruction (SPI) F011151442, SPI revision A, Date: 06 Feb 2003, Preservation Lvl/Mil. Additional Bar Coding or Marking Requirements 2840014901337. Application: J85-5R. Required delivery schedules are as follows: 190 ea (Min: 71/Max: 213) to be delivered on or before 30 Apr 2008. Inspection/Acceptance: Origin. Destination is Tinker AFB OK (FB2039). New/Unused government or commercial surplus acceptable-P/N and Mfg verification (E-420C, Mfg: 99207, P/N: 5125T85G01), prior government ownership (E-425), and 100% end item inspection (E-426). Surplus remarks: Any signs of rust, corrosion or evidence of deterioration from age, improper packaging or preservation nor evidence of disassembly or reconditioning in any manner are not acceptable. First Article (FA) government testing may be applicable.
