The equipment identified in this procurement is in support of the Air Force News Agency?s (AFNews) global news gathering and delivery effort. Rationale for Sole Source: An equipment-only follow-on requirement to a recently concluded lighting contract with Redwood Media Group; requirement is a component of a standardized system; there is an ongoing training on this equipment. This announcement constitutes the only notice, a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received by the closing date specified in the Request for Proposal (RFP). A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
