- U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR OFFICE SPACE JOPLIN, MISSOURI The General Services Administration (GSA) seeks expression of interest from owners and authorized agents of above-ground office and related space. The Government presently occupies 3,614 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet of office space near Joplin, Missouri. The Government will consider relocation if economically advantageous. The Government will consider agency mission requirements, the cost of moving, alterations, etc. when deciding whether it should relocate. Occupancy would be required by June 1, 2007. AMOUNT: GSA desires to lease approximately 3,395 square feet of BOMA rentable space. Rentable space must yield approximately 3,085 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet, available for use by the agency for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. TENANT: Internal Revenue Service (IRS) LOCATION: In Joplin, Missouri. REQUIRED: Space shall be in an office, research, technology, or business park that is modern in design with a campus-like atmosphere; or on an attractively-landscaped site containing one or more modern office buildings that are professional and prestigious in appearance with the surrounding development well-maintained and in consonance with a professional image. Tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The space offered must conform to GSA requirements for fire and life safety and handicap accessibility. TERM: Lease will be for a term of ten (10) years with the Government having termination rights after five (5) years with one hundred and twenty days (120) days? written notice to the Lessor.
