Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS, intends to issue a sole source award to Elgar Electronics Corporation, San Diego, CA, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( c )(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i). The requirement is for five (5) each power supplies which will be used in a charging station for the Lithium-ion rechargeable battery system designed for the Seahorse Autonomous Underwater Vehicle and must provide at least 336 Volts at 12 Amps. NAICS Code 335999. This sysnopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquriries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
