- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/ ). All prospective quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to this announcement. The RFQ number is N00604-07-T-0160. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-15 and DFARS Change Notice 20070212. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 532490, the FSC code is W039, and the Small Business Standard is $6.5 Mil. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Pearl Harbor, Hawaii requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: ITEM 0001: RENTAL OF 3-TON DIESEL FORKLIFTS WITH LONG FORKS & FACTORY RATED LIFTING EYES; QTY: 3 EACH. RENTAL PERIOD WILL BE FROM 9 MARCH 2007 TO 9 DECEMBER 2007. COST SHALL INCLUDE ALL TRANSPORTATION COSTS (DELIVERY, PICK UP, ETC.). ITEM 0002: RENTAL OF 7-1/2 TON DIESEL FORKLIFTS WITH 8-FOOT FORK & FACTORY RATED LIFTING EYES, QTY: 2 EACH. RENTAL PERIOD WILL BE FROM 9 MARCH 2007 TO 9 DECEMBER 2007. COST SHALL INCLUDE ALL TRANSPORTATION COSTS (DELIVERY, PICK UP, ETC.). ANTICIPATED USAGE OF FORKLIFTS IS 16 HOURS A DAY, 6 DAYS A WEEK. DELIVERY AND PICKUP WILL BE AT PHNSY & IMF DRYDOCK #3 PORTSIDE AT 0700 HRS. (1) Technically acceptable, (2) Price. Award will be made to the low cost, technically acceptable responsible offeror. The Government intends to make a single award; however, in the event that all contractors cannot provide all five forklifts, the Government reserves the right to make multiple awards as stated in FAR 52.212-1(h). Quoters are reminded to include a completed copy of 52.212-3 and its ALT I with quotes. If the offeror has completed the annual representations and certificates electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov, the Offeror only needs to complete paragraph (i) of the provision. Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Quoters must be registered in the CCR database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/ . All quotes shall include price(s), FOB point, a point of contact, name and phone number, GSA contract number if applicable, business size, and payment terms. Quotes over 10 pages in total will not be accepted by facsimile. Each response must clearly indicate the capability of the quoter to meet all specifications and requirements.
