- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport has a requirement to purchase the following hardware components which shall be manufactured in accordance with Government Drawings: Coupling Ring, P.N 2054-10000-01; Bulkhead, AFT, P/N 2054-1001-01; Sea Cap, P/N 2054-1002-01; Seal Cap, P;/N 2054-1003-01; Bracket, Strain Relief, P/N 2054-1005-01; Retainer, P/N 204-1006-03; Retainer, P/N 2054-1006-05; Ring, P/N 2054-1007-01; Bulkhead FWD NAS, P/N 2054-1009-01; Retainer Plate, P/N 2054-1014-05; Rtaining Plate, P/N 20054-1014-11; Tab, P/N 2054-1017-01; Clevis, VIM, P/N 2054-1021-01; Pin, Clevis, P/N 2054-1022-01; Retainer, P/N 2054-1023-01; VIM Forward Locking Coupling, P/N 2054-1024-01; VIM Aft Locking Coupling, P/N 2054-1025-01; VIM Locking Sleeve, P/N 2054-1026-01; Bulkhead, P/N 2054-1027-01; Bulkhead, P/N 2054-1028-01; Adapter, Pressure Sensor Mount, P/N 2054-1035-01; FWD Bulkhead, P/N 2054-1036-01; Hub Cover, P/N 2054-1044-01; Ballast Weight, P/N 2054-1047-01; Ballast Weight Retainer, P/N 2054-1048-01,Rev A; Heading Sensor, Mount, P/N 2054-1015-01; Heading Sensor Mount, Plug, P/N 2054-1033-01. The solicitation shall be posted no earlier than 28 FEB 2007. Vendors must be JCP certified to receive drawings. Vendors may request drawings at any time by e-mailing the vendor's mailing address, JCP certification number, CAGE Code, and vendor's FedEx Account number to stevensbl@npt.nuwc.navy.mil. Drawings will be mailed via the vendors FedEx Account number when the RFQ is released.Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room. This is 100% set-aside for small business. Size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition will be processed under the authority of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Final delivery shall be no later than 30 AUG 2007.
