- CONTACT Tuan Pham, AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-GN, (732) 532-5483. This is a market survey to locate additional sources supply for a Switches, Overspeed, NSN 5930-01-141-6333, Drawing # 70-1105-56, NSN 5930-01-210-8729, Drawing # 70-1105-13 and NSN 5930-01-166-78 40, Drawing # 70-1105-24. These Switches are used in the multi-use 15KW thru 500KW Gen Sets. The Overspeed Switches prevent the engine from running at an abnormally high speed, or the starter engaging while the engine is running, both of which could lead t o catastrophic engine failure, to include engine components flying loose from the engine. The overspeed switches are considered a safety component and purchased under strict vendor sourcing controls to ensure purchased switches provide the required safety controls for the generator sets. This acquisition is a five (5) years IDIQ buy with varying for each year from 10-110 each for NSN 5930-01-141-6333, 40-175 each for NSN 5930-01-210-8729 and 100-2,000 each for NSN 5930-01-166-7840. CECOM will be reviewing this acquisition to determine if it is suitable for Full and Open Competition and/or Small Business Set-Aside consideration.
