Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement con stitutes the only solicitation: quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) number W53W9L70330001. IAW FAR 52.219-6, this requirement is 100% Set Aside for Small Disadvantaged Concerns. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-13. The Standard Industrial Class is 3562; NAICS is 332991; Small Business Standard is 750 employees: Any resultant contract shall be Firm-Fixed Price, and one award is anticipated. IAW FAR 52.247-34, shipping is FOB Destination; Inspection and Acceptance is at Destination, 7 days for Inspection/Acceptance; Crane Army Ammunition Activity Receiving Bldg 148, Crane, IN 47522. A technical evaluation shall be required in order to evaluate contractors quote to the following standard description: Ball Bearings, Steel Ball, .125 inch diameter, Grade 10; Certify to Military Standard (MS) 19060-1008 US-1000 per package, total packages, 4,400; total requirement quantity, 4,400,000 ea. Package in accordance with ASTM D 3951-98 (Reapproved 2004). Desired Delivery is 4 Jun 2007. Partial shipments are allowed. A Certificate of Conformance (COC) is required as a condition of inspec tion and acceptance. Shipment must include an original invoice, packing slip, and COC.
