- The Department of Veterans Affairs, has a need for a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to provide integrated pest management services, in accordance with contract specifications, at the VA Medical Center Asheville, North Carolina. The square footage information is as follows: Inpatient Care Area=170,716 sq. ft., Out Patient Care Area=150,377 sq. ft., Admin Area=174,980 sq. ft., Operating Room=15,093 sq. ft., Emergency Room=6,884 sq. ft., Food Prep Area=12,502 sq. ft., Canteen=9,777 sq. ft. All other areas including Boiler room, corridors, Chiller Room, Stairwells = 194,686 sq. ft. Total square footage of 735,015 for this requirement.Proposals will be considered only from contractors who are regularly established in the business called for and who are financially responsible and have the necessary equipment and personnel to furnish services required. Contract will cover a period of one year from April 1, 2007 through March 31, 208 with the option of four (4)(1) year option periods which may be exercised at the option of the Government. It is the VA's intent to solicit offers and award one contract on a competitive basis. This procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 13 and will be advertised as Unrestricted. The applicable NAICS code is 561710. Solicitation packages will be available on or about February 07, 2007 and will be due on or about March 14, 2007. This requirement is subject to the availability of Fiscal Year 2007 funds.
