- This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for a total 100% small business set-aside. The Federal Highway Administration has a requirement to prepare a synthesis of the state of the practice and technology available for performing structural health monitoring of bridge substructures. A comprehensive assessment of substructure health issues, through a canvassing of state DOTs, offshore and foreign sources of construction monitoring programs, buildings, buried structures and other entities involved in bridge design, construction and maintenance shall be conducted. The Government anticipates award of a cost reimbursable contract. However, other contract types may be proposed. This solicitation will only be released and available electronically at http://www.fbo.gov. Accordingly, NO written, telephone, facsimile or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. However, interested parties can register at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements/notifications of postings by e-mail. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it will be the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the www.fbo.gov website for any solicitation amendments. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 541990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $6.5 million. NO OTHER PROCUREMENT INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
