- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue a solicitation RFQ50507-005-07 for the provision of the supply and installation of two automated Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration Treatment System for the Federal Medical Center (FMC), located at J Street Building #3000 Ft. Worth, Texas 76127. The contractor shall provide training for FMC Carswell system user and will include, but is not limited to the following: 1. telephone support during regular working hours and for after hour emergency assistance; 2. update system software, as needed, 3. install the automated Reverse Osmosis System in compliance with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO) and Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) standards to include lab cultures with negative results, 4. all supply and installation shall be in compliance to Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation section 62:2001 Water Treatment Equipment for Hemodialysis Applications. The contract period shall consist of one 12-month period. The solicitation will be available on or about March 1, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must register at www.ccr.gov. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is 2:00 P.M. CT, March 26, 2007, however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to the solicitation (1449 -Block #08) for the actual date quotations are due. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith -Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. *** IMPORTANT ***IMPORTANT ***IMPORTANT ***IMPORTANT A site visit is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Central Time on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at the Federal Medical Center Fort Worth, located at J Street Bldg. #3000 Ft.
