Paragraph 4.12 of the Request For Proposal, attached herein, is hereby revised to read as follows: The vendor shall submit with its proposal a list of all background intellectual property, inclusive of technical data, components, and processes that were developed prior to this contract that will be utilized in the performance of this contract. Background Intellectual Property means the Intellectual Property identified by the vendor which was in existence prior to or is first produced outside of this contract, except that in the case of invention in those identified items, the invention must have been conceived outside of this contract and not first actually reduced to practice under this contract to qualify as Background Intellectual Property. All other information as set forth in the initial notice below remains unchanged. Brookhaven National Laboratory is seeking reputable firms who can provide radiation tolerant DC to DC converters, hence forth called power supplies, to be used at the ATLAS Liquid Argon Calorimeter Detector. The power supplies will be installed at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, located near Geneva, Switzerland. The equipment will be procured under a contract to the United States Department of Energy. The Request For Proposal is attached herein in its entirety, inclusive of the Statement of Work and Specification No. PO-ATL-LVPS-02.
