- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Acquisition Management Division requires and intends to procure on a sole source basis with Coherent, Inc. ? Santa Clara, CA for a diagnosis and repair of a Verdi V10 Laser System under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. It is planned that a firm fixed-price purchase order will be awarded on or about March 7, 2007, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes (RFQ) and a RFQ will not be issued. However, if an interested party has reason to believe it can meet or exceed this requirement they may submit sufficient documentation to support their claim of capability by March 7, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. EST.
