- USTRANSCOM/TCAQ-S anticipates issuing an RFP on or about 23 Mar 07 for Passenger and Baggage Processing, and related services at Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) Thurgood Marshall Airport, Baltimore, MD. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, and any items and services necessary to perform Commercial Gateway functions. Performance period will be 1 Oct 07 through 30 Sep 08, followed by four (4) one-year options. An Award Option Plan will provide the potential for five (5) additional one-year performance periods which may extend contract performance through 30 Sep 17. A pre-proposal conference will be conducted at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport on or about 4 Apr 07 for the purpose of answering questions regarding this solicitation and for viewing the government furnished facilities. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. For purpose of this solicitation the small business size standard is $6.5 million. Numbered Note 1 applies to this acquisition.
