- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is R1DG1700701 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-15. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 442110 and the small business size standard is $6.5 million. Description of Work: Sale of office furniture for delivery to Admiral's Office at the Naval Warfare Development Command in Norfolk, VA. The contractor shall assemble furniture, place furniture in proper location in the office, and remove the trash from the furniture packaging from the premises. (*(c) Period for acceptance of offers. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers, unless another time period is specified in an addendum to the solicitation.) The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies to this solicitation. Award will be made to the lowest total price quotation that meets all delivery requirements. Delivery requirements include the following: (1) Delivery terms shall be FOB destination; (2) Delivery of Double Pedestal Desk and Executive High Back Chair (Items 1 and 8 shown above) shall take place not later than March 28, 2007; (3) Delivery of remaining items shall be no later than April 4, 2007 with a preferred delivery date of March 28, 2007. Offerors are to provide quotations for all items to be considered responsive. Only one award will be made in response to this solicitation. Multiple awards will not be made. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Nov 2006), with its offer and/or verify by the ORCA website. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Feb 2007), applies to this acquisition.
