- ******************************************************************************************************************** This synopsis is revised as follows: Solicitation will be for full and open competition. Solicitation anticipated posting date is on or about 22 Feb 07 and will close on or about 14 March 07 *********************************************************************************************************************** Fleet Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound, in support of Navy Region Northwest Hazardous Waste Facility, Everett Washington, has a requirement for New or reconditioned 55 gallon open top steel drums, Packing group II black with white top to meet 49 CFR 178 specifications for a UN 1A2/Y1.6/100 container. Requirement is for an estimated not to exceed yearly quantity of 300 - 55 gallon drums. The solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set Aside using commercial procedures IAW FAR Part 12 and 15. The anticipated contract type of award may be of the firm, fixed price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Supply type. The period of performance is the base year and four possible one-year option periods. Deliveries will be to NAVSTA EVERETT, Everett WA. The solicitation will be issued on or about 09 Feb 2007 and close on or about 26 Feb 07. When issued, the RFP will be electronically posted via the NECO website at www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP package and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax request for the RFP will be accepted. An email request to janet.m.baker@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. This office will maintain no bidders list. No paper copies of the RFP/Amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
