Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbos.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. You may also access information on the NSWC Crane Division web site at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm This is a synopsis for Multi-spectral Targeting System (MTS) Hand Control Units (HCUs) and two spare parts (transducer, and trigger guard) on a sole source basis to Dutch Valley Supply Co. in Lawrenceville GA. Dutch Valley Supply Co. is the sole distributor available for Adams Rite Aerospace. Adams Rite Aerospace initially developed the HCU for the MTS systems, owns the technical data rights and is unwilling to sell them at this time. These parts are anticipated to be procured utilizing FAR Part 12 and 15. The estimated maximum orders for this requirements contract are as follows: 730 HCUs, 130 Transducers, and 100 Trigger Guards for a period of five (5) years. Delivery will be required FOB Destination, Crane IN, 120 days from date of order. For information contact Chuck Lakin 812-854-5631 or email: charles.lakin@navy.mil. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 336413 and the size standard is 1000 employees Federal Supply Class 1680. This will be a firm fixed price contract with one responsible source and will be awarded utilizing FAR Part 12 and 15. See Numbered note 22.
