- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), has a requirement for constructing ten (10) exhibition models in display cases of the USS Virginia and intends to issue a competitive request for quotation (RFQ) following the procedures of FAR Part 13; Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The model scale sizes will be as follows: (3ea) 1:96 scale; (3ea) 1:192 scale; and (4ea) 1:250 scale. Award of a firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated. The RFQ N00167-07-Q-5048 is anticipated to be issued on or about March 8, 2007 and will be available via the following internet websites: https://www.neco.navy.mil/ or http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS is 326299 and size standard is 500 employees. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, prior to award of a contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchase agreement.
