Description

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region has a requirement for construction services along the La Plata River South of Red Mesa, Colorado and the confluence of Long Hollow in La Plata County, Colorado. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Subpart 14 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and is set-aside for HUBZONE small business concerns. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Invitation for Bid for this requirement. The Government anticipates awarding a fixed price sealed bid contract. The principal features of the work consists of all materials, equipment and labor necessary to clear, furnish and install approximately 37,330 linear feet of barbed and smooth wire fence, gates and water gaps. The estimated price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238990 and the size standard is $13 million in gross annual receipts averaged over the previous three 1-year accounting periods. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. There will be a site tour scheduled (date, time, and location will be provided in the solicitation). All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be available APPROXIMATELY March 9, 2007 at www.fedbizopps.gov. Telephone requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. Once logged into the fedbizopps web site, a search engine is available by clicking the Vendors button then the Find Business Opportunities @ button. The search engine allows interested parties to search by solicitation number. Prospective vendors must be registered in CCR prior to the award of a contract.
