- The Southeast Regional Medical Command (SERMC) has a requirement for hospital housekeeping services. This service requirement shall include the following facilities in the Southeastern United States: Lawrence Joel Army Health Clinic and Dental Clini c, Fort McPherson, Georgia; Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, Georgia; Moncrief Army Community Hospital, Fort Jackson, South Carolina; Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Fort Campbell, Kentucky; and Fox Army Health Clinic, Redston e Arsenal, Alabama. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, training, transportation, equipment and materials necessary to provide housekeeping services in accordance with JCAHO, OSHA, and United States Army Medical Command standar ds and regulations. The estimated combined square footage of all facilities is 1,847,323 square feet. The contract base period will be from 1 October 2007 through 30 September 2008, with four 1-year options. The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS ) code/size is 561720/$15M. This requirement will be solicited as unrestricted. Offerors must meet the required minimum corporate experience. Contractor corporate experience requires that the firm have gained experience in hospital housekeeping services a s a result of being regularly engaged in the business of providing housekeeping services in healthcare/patient care environments (e.g., inpatient, outpatient, ancillary, surgical, and dental care). The minimum level of acceptable experience required is 24 months within the previous 36 months from the date established for submission of proposals. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 9 April 2007. Prospective offerors will be able to download the soli citation from the website. Telephone or written requests for the solicitation will not be accepted.
