- This is a notice of intent to issue a commercial contract for personal and non-personal Medical Support for Camp Shelby, Mississippi. The government intends to award the below described services sole source to ITS Medical Systems, Duluth, Georgia ba sed on the authority outlined in 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The identified source is the only service provider capable of delivering services by the start date because they already have qualified, credentialed providers in place. Description of services: CL IN 0001 Medical Support for Camp Shelby, to include 2 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physicians, 2 FTE Registered Nurse Case Managers, 13 FTE Medical Records Clerks, 1 FTE Medical Supply Technician, 2 FTE Laboratory Techn icians, 2 FTE Radiology Technicians, 4 FTE Pharmacy Technicians, 2 FTE Licensed Practical Nurses, 1 FTE Optometrist, 1 FTE Preventive Medicine Technician, 1 FTE Internal Medicine Physician, 1 FTE Certified Nursing Assistant, 1 FTE Food Inspector and 1 FTE Phlebotomist. The period of performance is from 1 April 2007 through 30 September 2007. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 14 days after date of publication of t his synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be consider ed solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
