- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; propos als are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W91ZRS-07-Q-0004 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect throu gh Federal Acquisition Circular 05-15. This proposed contract is unrestricted. The Connecticut Army National Guard has the requirement for the drop off of laundered shop towels (18 X18 ) and pick-up of soiled shop towels to numerous locations throughout Connecticut. The locations and number of shop towels to be delivered to each loca tion are attached to this combined synopsis/solicitation. When receiving one delivery, bi-weekly, delivery will not exceed 26 on an annual basis. When delivery is once monthly, delivery will not exceed 12 on an annual basis. The quote will contain a line i tem including a loss quantity charge, cost per towel that is unaccounted for. Contractor will provide the CTARNG with their operating permit. Award will be made to the offeror whose quote meets all conditions and offers the overall lowest price. The services under this solicitation will be for a term of six (6) Months with four (4 ) option years, not to exceed a total contract period of four (4) and a half years.
