=====February 22, 2007 -- THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AMENDED TO BE SOLICITED AS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE AS WELL AS OTHER MINOR CHANGES TO THE SOLICITATION. CLOSING DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO CLOSE OF BUSINESS MARCH 9, 2007. THE AMENDMENT WILL BE POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS TODAY.============ ---NOTE: THIS IS A REISSUANCE OF SOLICITATION RFQ-R4-07-04. ANY OFFERORS WHO WISH TO HAVE THEIR RESPONSE TO RFQ-R4-07-04 CONSIDERED FOR THIS SOLICITATION MUST SUBMIT A LETTER TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER TO THAT EFFECT, ALONG WITH THE SIGNED FORM SF-1449 FOR THIS SOLICITATION.----- The Intermountain Region is in need of exclusive-use services of Type III (light) helicopters for eight bases located throughout the region. Offerors may submit offers for type II (medium) helicopters if they wish. Resultant contracts will be for a base year plus up to four (4) one-year options. The solicitation is being reissued as a partial set-aside, with 75% of the awards set aside for small business.
