The United States Pretrial Services Agency for the Central District of California, in its position as the Contract Administrator, and other participating U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services agencies throughout the country, have a requirement for the provision of continuous, active (near-real-time) remote location monitoring services that utilize the Global Positioning Satellite System (GPS). The system shall be used to monitor the recent movements of federal defendants under community supervision within the member districts.
