- The USDA Forest Service Anaconda Job Corps Center located at 1407 Foster Creek Road, Anaconda, Montana is a residential, educational and vocational training facility for student?s ages 16 to 25 years of age. The mission of the Job Corps is to provide academic, vocational and life learning skills to youths at-risk. Anaconda Job Corps is required by the Department of Labor to provide basic Optical Health services to students. This requirement will be in accordance with the Acquisition of Commercial Items Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12. It has been Set-aside for Small Business. The performance period is 336 calendar days, July 01, 2007 through June 30, 2008, a base period with 4 option years. The contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database located at http://www.ccr.gov. The NAICS code for this project is 621320 and the small business size standard is $6.5 million. The price range for the base year of this contract is less than $25,000. Labor, services, equipment, permits, and licenses/certifications by the State of Montana shall be provided by the Contractor. Frames and lenses will be supplied by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a proposal. The Government plans to award a firm fixed price contract without discussions resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted to this website-FedBizOpps-for downloading and will provide all necessary information for bidders to prepare and submit a proposal.
