- NAICS Code: 541710 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) has a requirement for processing and analyses of algal samples from the Experimental Stream Facility (ESF) in Milford, OH. Support provided to this program is: (A) soft (non-diatom) algal and diatom sub sample identification (genus/species/subspecies level), biovolume measurements, and enumeration, (B) Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and data entry, (C) reference collection, and (D) reporting. In addition, the Contractor shall provide the necessary personnel, facilities and equipment and otherwise do all things necessary for, or incidental to, counting and classifying diatoms in samples provided by EPA and shall provide data files containing the counts and taxonomy of each sample processed. NAICS Code 541710 applies with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The Request for Quote (RFQ) is expected to be issued approximately fifteen days after the date this notice is posted. Quotes will be due approximately 15 calendar days after issuance of the RFQ. This quote will be awarded as a result of a competitive small business set-aside simplified acquisition. The RFQ and any amendments will be available via the Internet http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd. It will be your responsibility to frequently check the same site where the solicitation is posted for any amendments. All responsible small businesses may submit a RFQ which shall be considered by the Agency.
