- It is anticipated that a sole source purchase order will be awarded to Uson L.P. for the procurement of a leak tester to test M100 and M295 decon systems in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The required leak tester must meet the following minimum requirements: Capacity: contain sample packets of 17inx7.25inx3in, 11.5inx6.75inx2in, and 8.75inx5in Pressure: Constant and variable settings Repeatability: Hands-free operation, limited human error introduced Type: Non-porous package integrity testing of large packages Standards: ASTM F2338-04 for non-destructive detection of leaks in packages by vacuum decay method Delivery: 35 Days After Award Based on market research it was determined that Uson L.P. was the sole provide of a leak tester meeting these requirements. As such, the resulting purchase order is anticipated to be awarded on 23 February 2007. Responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
