- The Government intends to negotiate a commercial item (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with St Joseph's Center, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, for representative payee services at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15.  Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The Government intends to award a firm - fixed price contract for a base year, with the Government's option to exercise three (3), one (1) year option periods.  The solicitation is to be issued on or about February 21, 2007, with offers due on or about February 26, 2007.  This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. NAICS #624190, Size Standard is $6.5 million.
