- Services to install one-step epoxy decking while the vessel is moored at homeport Charleston, SC. (Pier Papa, Old Naval Base). The work is to be completed between 01 and 17 April 2007. All site visits may be set up with the unit by contacting the ships supply officer. While the unit is underway contractors wishing to bid may contact the ship via email at the address below. Charleston, SC 29405 308-843-9636 Attn: Supply Officer dapperson@cgcdallas.uscg.mil a. 1-234-0-L, Messdeck 30? x 32?, approximately 960 square feet. This deck is currently coated with one-step and requires a new color coat and clear top coat. b. 1-125-0-L, Wardroom 20? x 22?, approximately 440 square feet. This deck currently coated with one-step and requires a new color coat and clear top coat. c. Main Ships Passageway , Frame 147 to 234 (87? x 3?), approximately 300 square feet. This deck is currently coated with one-step and requires a new color coat and clear top coat. 2. Space measurement is measured for the overall space and interferences such as; tool cabinets and or benches are minimal. Items that are removable will removed by ships force. 3. Square footage measurements are approximates only. The contractor should measure each space for accuracy. 4. DALLAS request contractor provide color samples prior to contract approval. 5. Work is to be performed starting 01 April 07 and be completed by 17 April 07. 6. The contractor is to prepare the existing surfaces by industry standards for epoxy deck applications. Followed by a thorough application of denatured alcohol or similar material to ensure the surface is clean and will properly adhere to the new material. 7 One Step epoxy material is to be applied between 1/8? to 1/4? thick or per industry standard to allow for door opening and thresholds. 8.
