- Answers to questions asked by potential contractors: 1) Are the weeks of the training subsequent and without gap Answer-- Yes 2) Are the following items being provided by FEMA; Projector; High speed internet access, 15 computers or laptops, LAN and a printer statio. Answer-- Only the high speed internet acess. 3) What are the training hours. Answer-- The training hours will be 8AM to 4:30PM with 1 hr for lunch. 4) Is the training facility a building or a trailer Answer-- A building 5) Are normally priced hotels near the facility Answer- There are several local hotels. The contractors will have to investigate the costs . 6) Once classroom is setup can the equipment be left installed and secured. Answer-- You will be escorted to and from the classroom by a FEMA person. The equipment will be guarded at all times by armed security. and can be left in the room for the entire 6 weeks. 7) Will students be enrolled in each class ( will one person attend all 3 classes) all classes are seperate classes of mixed students, or a combination. Answer-- Some students will attend the 3 different classes. 8) Text references are varied as well as the cosrt per text. Is there a std text envisioned. If so please advise ISBN number Answer-- Trainers are to provid4e all classroom materials. 9) Will the classes be scheduled back to back Answer Yes 10) Do you know of any training or certification that is required. Answer- We are not going for certifications just to learn how to run and maintain the software.
