- Description
- Elmendorf AFB, AK has a requirement for custodial service in Elmendorf AFB facilities. The awarded contract will be a requirements type contract. All work will be funded and issued on delivery orders. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to perform all the requirements in the Statement of Work (SOW). Work consists of, but is not limited to: vacuuming and shampooing carpets; cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, saunas and steam room; stocking restrooms; empying trash recepticles; dusting; cleaning walls, mirrors, windows and doors; sweeping, mopping, stripping and waxing floors and other general cleaning requirements. The period of performance is one base year (1 April 2007 though 31 March 2008) plus four option years. The request for quotation number is FA5000-07-R-0004 and can be downloaded at www.fedbizopps.gov on or after 15 January 2007. This action is open to certified 8(a) concerns. Joint Venture Agreements- Joint Ventures are allowable on competitive 8(a) set-asides, however the joint venture agreement must be received by SBA prior to proposal due date and aproved before award of resulting contract. If you are contemplating a joint venture on this project, you must advise your assigned Business Opportunity Specialist (BOS) as soon as possible. It is also recommended that the agreement be submitted as soon as practicable to ensure compliance with established regulations. Any corrections and/or changes needed can be made only when your BOS has adequate time for a thorough review before proposal due date. No corrections and/or changes are allowed after time of submission of proposal or bid. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 561720, with a business size of $14,000,000. This acquisition will be made under FAR Parts 12 and 37. This solicitation will be issued electronically. It will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.fedbizopps.gov). Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. No paper copies will be furnished. Potential offerors should register at www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to submit their contact information by registering as an interested vendor utilizing the Vendor Notification Service link within the Register to Receive Notification function. No bidders mailing list will be maintained. Offers will be submitted on the Standard Form 1449 and must include as a minimum the items listed in FAR Clause 52.212-1 (b) This clause may be viewed at http://farsite.hill.af.mil .
